Hail Damage Repair
Hail damage can happen at any time, whether you’re on your way home from work during a storm or when an unexpected hail storm has begun and your vehicle’s parked outside. Whatever the case, we help make those hail damages less permanent and stressful. Don’t let some measly ice damages ruin your car for good – we provide hail damage repair that will have you forgetting you ever had hail damage to begin with!
Since hail is a hard and dense substance, it can cause more damage to your vehicle than you might have expected. When a full hail storm comes, it can leave behind small dents on the exterior of your car that can be annoying and challenging to remove. To begin the process of removing hail, we must start with a clean slate, or a clean car. This allows us to see the dents clearly and examine how much damage has occurred.
Removing Bumps and Dents
Removing bumps and dents is done with our gentle techniques and expertise. Most hail damage repairs can be done by using our Paintless Dent Repair methods that pull the dents out and flatten them with the rest of your car’s surface area. If the hail was heavier and thicker and has penetrated more than the outer layer of your car, such as scratching it or removing the paint, the area will have to be sanded down and later flattened, then patched and painted. This method takes much longer and require more labor-intensive techniques. If possible, it’s better to take as many preventative measures as possible to either reduce the potential damage or prevent it altogether.
What we don’t want, is to make it obvious that you once had hail damage and it’s been removed. Our blending techniques mean that you won’t see evidence of repairs taking place, you’ll just see results! The hail damages are removed and later flattened with the rest of the body of the car so that the surface is smooth and looks brand new. Our hail damage repairs and removal ensure that you’re not left with lasting proof that your car was negatively affected by hail damage. We blend the repairs in so your car looks like new!
Prevention methods are available if your car is vulnerable to hail damage. First, we recommend having auto insurance coverage! Most auto insurance plans will cover some portion of hail damage, so when it does occur, you should submit a claim to your insurance company who will then financially assist you with all repairs that are performed by a mechanic. Secondly, you can also invest in car covers for your car specifically, or buy standard tarps from local hardware stores, which can be used to cover your car if you don’t have covered parking available. Using blankets and bedsheets can also be a safe alternative during a hail storm, if you don’t have time to get out to purchase a car cover or tarp. When you take preventative measures, your damage will be either less likely or less severe than without some sort of protection!
